Awkward-

– While Playing Ultimate Frisbee, I was running too fast and I tripped over my own feet, not once, not twice but three times! Only once did I actually tumble onto the ground but still, it was definitely a more clumsy than usual day.

– Back in August we planned a birthday party for Roy at the local park and invited all the family. I got all the supplies including  a cake and making two other desserts all taken care of and was feeling pretty good about it all. Things weren’t super last minute like they usually are with me and it felt pretty good. Anyways, it comes time to dish up the cake and I suddenly realized I had completely forgotten forks or spoons or any kind of utensils to eat with! :-O Thankfully the park was just around the corner from my parents and so my Dad ran and grabbed some utensils. Still, it was a little embarrassing to have forgotten something so important to a party. My excuse is that we were living in a hotel at the time so I was already a little scatter brained. Yeah, I think I’ll go with that! 😉

Awesome-

– Buying our first real house! We’re renovating it and it’s tons of fun doing all the things that come with that; picking light fixtures, paint colors, flooring, new toilet, shower and vanity for the bathroom, new window treatments and so on and so forth.

-Fall weather! I love, love, love this time of year! All the trees in our yard are shedding their leaves and the kids have been having too much fun jumping through any piles I rake up. Ah, how I remember doing the same thing when I was little!

-I’ve been putting the kiddos in our double jogging stroller and taking long walks around our new neighborhood. So far we’ve only met nice doggies and seen lots of different farm animals. Its amazing to be walking through literally the middle of town and yet there’s a couple horses in this pasture, a flock of sheep in another, and just up the road there’s some alpaca. Its awesome actually.
